Proenza Schouler | Fall 2016

Fall 2016

Proenza Schouler

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandezpulled off the venue coup of New York Fashion Week.
A year after they showed at the Whitney’s former Breuer Building uptown, we were in the museum’s new meatpacking district location tonight, with the Hudson and the bright lights of New Jersey spread out beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. This Fall show felt of a piece with their last Fall collection, and the Spring season that came in between. To borrow an art world term, the Proenza Schouler designers have entered their middle period, with preoccupations that run to deconstruction, a long lean line, and mucho knits.
